Additional Settings
The first set of additional settings defines group and shared IDs. The second set of additional settings contains less frequently used options.
Additional Settings in User Profile
User Profile Field Description This is a Group ID Available to Administrators only. Designates this user ID as a group ID; only one group ID for each group #. Enter group ID as the Primary group Number. All Primary Group Members use these settings - valid only with Group IDs Overrides all individual settings. Uses settings defined in this group ID profile for all Primary group Members. Finished/Submit button returns User to Main Screen, not the Topic List Check to have the Finished button return the users to the custom main screen. If unchecked, the user returns to Topic Table after clicking the Finished button.Use this option in conjunction with agenda templates, direct topic access and with direct topic links from a Web page. Users may use this ID to create custom ID's Use in conjunction with the shared ID designation and a customized Logon Screen.Allows users to create their own individual user ID and password based on the settings of the shared ID when they logon to FacilitatePro. (See Section 28 for examples of custom logon screens.) Allow User to change their Alias and Organization Use this option, in conjunction with the shared ID designation above and a customized Logon Screen, to allow users to enter a temporary Session Alias when they logon to FacilitatePro. Also allows users to specify Level 1, 2, and 3 organization/demographic information in conjunction with a customized logon screen for surveys. (See Section 28 for examples of custom logon screens.) Require user to confirm deletion or items Use to force user with edit permissions to confirm deletion of an item or idea before it is permanently deleted. Do not use the HTML WYSIWYG Editor Disables HTML editor functions including HTML Editor function in Pro facilitator toolbar and Broadcast Message screen. Hide Conference and Topic Detail Displays only conference and topic names in the Conference Manager and Topic Manager tables; does not display conference and topic descriptions. Not used in conjunction with custom screen templates or Facilitator Main Screen templates. Do not display the print button option. Removes the print button from the user screens. May not choose Topic to enter User cannot access the list of conferences or topics through the Conference Manager function. May not vote on any Topic Applies to FacilitatePro v3.1 upgrades only. May not access the Current Topic User cannot access the Current Topic for the user's primary group. May not add new Items Removes the Add an Idea area of the Brainstorming Screen. No Add an Idea button.User may still view the electronic flip chart and build on existing items. Allow User access to Vote HTML data Supported on a special bid basis only.Provides the user with access to the voting results via the Data Options Check function. Allow user access to Vote HTML data Special function for HTML surveys. Receives ballots - provides compatibility for v 3.0 users No longer used. Include available detail for emails No longer used. By default do not display Conferences accessible to the following Groups (e.g., 1,4,5) Limits by user group the conferences displayed on Facilitator Main Screen and Conference Manager screens. Typically used by administrators who do not need to display all user groups all of the time.
Alternatively, to display conferences for selected groups enter insteadshowonly followed by groups to display. Allow user to upload files to the Web directory or one of its subdirectories The System Administrator must enable this capability for the site before it can be used. Allows users to upload files directly to the server. Specify file directory to organize files. For example: Facilitators\JohnSmith\. Also need File Upload link added to the facilitator toolbar (Section 20). Allow User to attach files - enter directory path below The System Administrator must enable this capability for the site before it can be used. User may attach files to ideas and builds. Specify a default directory where attached files will be saved. For example: \clients\ABC\Granting this capability on a topic-by-topic basis, instead of user-by-user, may be easier to administer.
