Importing Items and User IDs from ASCII Text Files

FacilitatePro enables the import of items into pre-established conferences, topics, subtopics and user IDs from ASCII text files.

NOTE: The Import Data function works only with ASCII Text files. Attempts to import from other file formats may cause FacilitatePro to shut down. Only import items when the system is not in use by others.

The ASCII text files must contain field and record delimiters. The format of the data must be precise or the resulting conferences, items and user IDs will not be correct. Check the text data file in a spreadsheet application to ensure all formatting is correct before importing. FacilitatePro imports the exact data from the file; it will not identify and correct erroneous data elements.
