Custom Screen Templates - Creating Agenda Templates

The Custom Screen Templates function provides a set of main screen and topic format templates that can be assigned to individual User Profiles or to Topics and Subtopics. The Custom Screen Templates function is accessed by a link on a Pro facilitator's main screen. The link is:

The installation data file provides several templates that are ready to use. Facilitators can create additional templates and edit existing templates to include new logos, color schemes, text, etc. A copy of the original template components is included on in installation CDROM.

Custom screen templates each have a template owner. Templates with an owner of Admin can only be changed by an administrator. A facilitator has use of any templates that he/she owns and any templates assigned to his/her user group or owned by "All."

Custom Screen Templates

Custom screen templates contain several components, some or all of which may be used in the creation of a template. Each component defines a screen layout that includes FacilitatePro field variables, or XvariablesX, that are plugged into the screens as appropriate.

Custom Screen Template Component	Description
Custom Main Screen	Sets out the participant's main screen.
Custom Screen Frame Option	Sets out the side-by-side frame layout including % width for the left and right frames.
Custom Screen Frame - Blank Screen HTML	Sets out the right hand frame when it is blank, that is, when no topic has been selected in the left hand side agenda or no Follow Me topic has been designated.
Custom Screen Frame - Topics with Embedded Objects HTML	Sets out the right hand frame when a multimedia URL is embedded into the frame; used for YouTube videos and other multimedia elements that do not take up the full frame.
Custom Screen Frame Option - Full Screen for Links and Embeds	Part of a frames templates that sets out the full screen format when a multimedia URL for a particular topics is specified as full screen rather than side-by-side.
Custom Conference List	Sets out the conference table format as part of the Conference Manager function.
Custom Topic List	Sets out the topic table format as part of the Conference Manager function.
Custom Topic Format	Sets out the topic format as a template assigned to a topic or for all topics that a user enters.
Custom Header Format	Sets the header, typically a toolbar, for all user screens.
