Administration Menu

Administration menu options to edit conference and item data are rarely used in the Web server interface; these functions are more typically managed by a facilitator in the Web browser interface. The server interface provides a backup option when the HTML interface is compromised. This list is provided for reference.

Performance Preferences: Memory Settings	Use to adjust cache and other memory settings.
Performance Preferences: Memory Settings	Use to adjust CPU priorities.
Conference Management: Conference Manager	Use to create and edit conferences and topics. Contains the functions for conference export and import. Import and export functions are described later in this section.
Conference Management: Idea Editor	Use to display and edit items within conferences, topics and subtopics. Use only as backup when the HTML Web interface is compromised.
Conference Management: Conference Export	Use to export a conference and all of its contents into a set of specially formatted ASCII text files. The files can used to import the conference back into the same copy or another copy of FacilitatePro at a later time.
Conference Management: Conference Import	Use to import a previously exported conference back into FacilitatePro. Only files previously exported from FacilitatePro may be imported using this option.
User Settings: Edit User Profiles	Use to create and edit user profiles - user ids and passwords. Use only as a backup when the HTML Web interface is compromised.
Miscellaneous: Import Data	Imports conference, topic and user data from ASCII text files. Import functions are described later in this section.
Miscellaneous: Save All Data	Saves all data. The system automatically performs this function.
Update License	Use to update the server license number. Enter a Name (optional), and the exact Company Name and License Number provided in your Facilitate.com/FacilitatePro license information.
