Managing User Alias
Facilitators have four options for handling participant aliases for attribution during brainstorming:· Allow participants to enter their name at the logon screen.· Hard-code an alias for brainstorming attribution purposes in a User Profile. This alias will be used unless participants are allowed to replace it by typing their own name when they logon. To prevent a user from changing their assigned alias, turn off the checkbox under Additional Settings to "Allow user to change their Alias and Organization."· For Individual User IDs, when no alias is pre-set in the User Profile and the participant does not create one as they logon, then the User ID name will be used for attribution.· For Shared User IDs, when no alias is pre-set in the User Profile and the participant does not create one as they logon, they will be assigned an alias of "Anonymous" and this will be used for attribution purposes.
