FacilitatePro

User ID Privileges

User ID
Description
Individual ID
Created when a user needs a unique user profile.
Allows a user to logon with a unique user ID and password, with individually defined custom main screen settings, access privileges and viewing options.
Facilitators and Administrators should have Individual ID's.
Shared ID
Allows multiple users to join a meeting using a single user profile.
A single user profile determines the custom main screen, access privileges and viewing options for everyone using this shared ID.
Use to accommodate large numbers of users that need short-term access to a meeting or one-time access to a survey.
Allows users to create their own Individual ID's, if the logon screen is customized for this purpose.
Temporary ID
System generated unique and temporary user profile created during logon.
Enables the system to recognize activities of the user, attribute ideas, and record voting responses during a single session. When the user leaves FacilitatePro the data is retained, but the ID is no longer valid.
Users re-entering the system receive another Temporary ID.
Temporary ID's appear in the list of user ID's as strings of randomly generated characters all starting with "FAC."
Cleared from the server automatically at midnight as defined in the server Web settings.
Group ID
Created by an administrator.
Used to name user groups for easy reference when setting up conferences and users.
Used to set viewing options for primary group members, or to override any individual user profile settings. Group viewing options settings are subordinate to topic settings/viewing options defined at the topic level.
