Group IDs
Group IDs are used to name user groups for easy reference when setting up conferences and users.Group IDs are also useful to manage a large set of user IDs as a block, to override any individual user profile settings and, for example, direct participants to a difference Conference or update all screens with a different Agenda Template. When a Group ID is defined and the Additional Settings option is checked so that All Primary Group Members use these settings, then the interface for participants in this User Group will be driven by the settings in the Group ID; individual settings (such as an active conference or agenda template) will be ignored or reset to match the Group ID. Group viewing options settings are subordinate to topic settings/viewing options defined at the topic level and so do not usually affect the brainstorming, voting or results layouts of individual Topics during a meeting.
