Setting up a Simple Survey

As an Express or ExpressPlus facilitator you can prepare surveys that have:
Several questions
Several sections (Categories)
A single way of responding to the questions drawn from the list of basic and custom voting profiles available on the Prepare for Voting screen. (Talk to your FacilitatePro administrator about adding to your list of custom voting profiles.)
The steps to set up a survey are the same steps that you use to create an agenda Topic, fill out items in the brainstorming flip chart, prepare to vote and apply a voting profile. Refer to the earlier sections of this guide for more details; we will review the steps in brief here.
Step 1: Plan your survey offline
Step 2: Create a New Conference and Add an agenda Topic that will become your survey flip chart
Step 3: Use the Topic Mode Brainstorming - Quick Cat to create survey sections
Step 4: Use the Topic Mode Brainstorming to add questions to the flip chart
Step 5: Adjust Participant Options / Viewing Options to Add Item Numbers and Change the Flip Chart Sort Order (ExpressPlus facilitators only)
Step 6: Prepare to Vote - select a Voting Profile and Distribute Ballots
Step 7: Invite your participants to your survey - create a Topic Participant ID
Step 8: Use the Topic mode of Vote - Facilitators View Results to Monitor Results
Step 9: Print results
