Allowing Participants to Categorize their Own Ideas

After the group has brainstormed a list of ideas (Topic Mode = Brainstorm) and the facilitator has created Categories (Topic Mode = Brainstorm - Quick Cat) you can switch to the Topic Mode "Brainstorm - Quick Cat - Personal" to allow participants to drag and drop their own ideas into Categories. This is a quick way to take a long list of ideas and sort them into defined themes.

Change the Topic Mode to Brainstorm - Quick Cat - Personal

Participants click on the Save and Refresh button to save their Category selections.

Facilitators remain in the Brainstorm Topic Mode and can refresh the flip chart as categorization progresses. Switch back to the Brainstorm Topic Mode to show everyone the organized flip chart. Instruct participants to click the cancel button to return to the main screen.
