Step 3: Using My Facilitator Settings - Editing Items in the Flip Chart

As a facilitator you have a special button labeled Use My Facilitator Settings. Click on this to separate yourself from the participant view and access some special facilitator settings, such as the ability to edit items in the flip chart.

The Add an Idea area is gone and you have an editing pencil next to each item in the flip chart. The editing pencil is used to edit individual ideas.

To edit an item in the flip chart, click on the appropriate editing pencil. This opens the item editing screen where you can:

· Edit the Item Headline and Detail

· Edit the Item Number

· Permanently delete the idea (there is no undo function)

· Scroll through the list of items using the Next Item and Previous Item buttons

· Save changes and return to the flip chart

When you have finished editing, click on the Use Participant Settings button to return to your original view. You can toggle back and forth between Use My Facilitator Settings and Use Participant Settings as often as you wish.
